About Us I am a stay at home mom with three wonderful kids. I have been married for over 8 years to my best friend. I am head over heals in love with him. He always supports my crazy "thrifty adventures". We have a lot of fun together. I was raised on a small dairy farm. Where I learned very young, the value of hard work and how to be thrifty in all areas of life. Growing up our meals were made from scratch. Only on special occasion would we get name brand cereal, chips, or any other fancy treats. Now that I am a Mom with my own budget, the basic foods always comes first. I too make most of our meals from scratch and take pride in feeding my family a well balanced healthy diet. I enjoy seeing how far I can make our budget stretch, and when I take the time to match sales with coupons I am able to get all those "fun & fancy" items that would other wise be out of my budget. Being thrifty has always been a way of life for me, but it has also become a real joy.

Old Navy Codes

I am not one to sign up for store credit cards…but here is a deal if you have  a Gap, BR or Old Navy card.  Now through June 2010 you can save $10 off any online Old Navy purchase when you use your Just use code THANKYOU at check out to take that $10 off your total.  Plus, you should be able to stack code ONGET30 to save an additional 30% off one item but you must have an Old Navy card to do this.

Thanks Alaska Coupon Diva

Just thought I’d let you all know this works. I used mine through piperlime because they have free shipping! They do have a few sale items that will work from 99cents-$10 after discount. If not on Old Navy you could get something for free and only pay $7 shipping it does not have to be at least $10 so a $9.99 item would work.
Plus think about using an Old Navy card like a check (pay off in full every time and only buy what you can afford.) I buy a lot of clothes from Old Navy because with the card I can sometimes score additional 50% off clearance plus an additional 30% off plus they send bonus $10 certificates just for signing up for e-mail etc. I bought myself like ten shirts for $1 a piece. I can often get my girls cute coats for $5 to $10 dollars etc. If you can discipline yourself to only buy what you can pay off and never pay interest it really pays to have an Old Navy card.
