70% off Restaurant.com $25 Gift Cert. orders + free $10 Lobster Gram offer. Use code PUMPKIN and Pay $3 thru 10/25/09.
We use these when we go out to eat, and love them. This is a copy of my bill the last time I used one at Silver Spur here in Caldwell Which unfortunately has closed down due to the economy.. My bill would have been $48.68 but I was able to get it for $19.47. A very Thrifty price for a steak dinner for a family of 5. You do need to read the fine print most of them say you have to order $35.00 in order to use you $25 gift card and they require a 18% tip. I am happy to do both of these and always feel like we get a thrifty deal. The best part is you can print these right of your home computer so you do not need to wait for them to show up in the mail! I just called restaurants.com and they exchanged my certificate for a new one that can be used at any restaurant. Huge bummer that they are closed!!!
The last time I ordered from restaurants. com I did not notice that some of the restaurants (like brick 29 and Carinos) have raised their minimum spending amount to 40$ to 50$. I was really bummed because I bought it for a date for my husband and I and we would never spend $50 even if we had a Gift certificate that is just way too much food. That’s okay we will use it with another couple later, but people should be aware that some of the restaurants have changed their minimums.
yeah look close… they do change frequently
I had the same problem with them. We were really bummed on Friday night when we couldn’t use ours too.
I emailed restaurants.com and they have not replied to my email as of yet. I found out they were closed down last week when I went there. Sarah can you email me privately? Thanks.
I noticed that Silver Spur is still listed at restaurant.com. My husband and I tried to go there last night to use a certificate I had previously gotten and it was CLOSED. The sign on the door stated that it was due to the economic crisis and I am not sure if it will be reopening.
ahh too bad we ate there a couple of times.. it was really good.. better steak there then any steak house
You can contact Restaurant.com to get a refund or exchange i think is what they do. We have to do it now cause we have some certificates for there we havent used yet
