There is a 4 day Walgreens ad that came out today ( click here to view match ups and deals). On the front of the ad it says Spend $25 and get back a $5 register reward…. will pint after you pay. Ad states that it excludes prescriptions, lottery tickets, postage stamps, tobacco, dairy, and gift, phone, prepaid card.
I had some of you ask me if the $25 dollars was before or after any coupons were used? I went to my local store this morning, my total was $28 I brought it down to $19 with coupons and register rewards from other items. Sure enough a $5 register reward printed after I paid. This is a great deal! Hope this clears up any questions!

I took advantage of this today. In fact, my cashier had me void the Webkinz I was buying, paid for that transaction then she rang up the Webkinz separately and used the $5 off coupon! She said they will have another one starting again next week Wednesday December 16! I told her I’d be back to shop some more!
The $25 is before coupons, I did this 4x today and even though I only paid a few dollars for each transaction, I still got the $5 reward. These will not print if you use a $5 reward so it would be best to save them til next week or if you want to get something for $5 now and dont have enough to get up to $25. A couple things I did today to get to $25 was buy the items they have that are free after register reward. Example:
Conair brush $2
Renu contact solution 9.99
Neutragena for men face wash 4.99
5 boxes Wheat thins $10
Christmas candy .39
Subtotal $27.37
Coupons used -8.00 (wheat thins and neutragena)
Walgreens diabetes coupon for wheat thins -2.50
Register rewards -16.00
Pay .87 + tax and get back $25 in Register rewards.
I went tonight to get a bunch at walgreens and separated it into 25$ transactions, but after the first one it didnt print the RR for 5, the store manager said that the registers will not print the coupon unless my total was over 25 after coupons and taxes.. So, i guess it is different at each store. I still did well, but not as good as I had hoped ! Just wanted to share the info..
remember, if you need a filler, ? all Walgreens have a Toys For Tots bin by the exit
I went to the Walgreens on Woodruff in Idaho Falls and the clerk said they didn’t have an additional ad. Do the Walgreens just have regional sales?

I have question for you! Can you turn around and buy another $25 and use the $5 RR from previous transaction and get a new $5 RR. or is it like most RR and you can not get another RR when using it on same item. Hope that make a little sense!! Thanks
