A Thrifty Mom is heading to the valley of Green Giant Vegetables

I wanted to share some exciting news with you all.  Matt and I have been invited by Green Giant to come visit his farm in Minnesota?  Yip that is right, I grew up watching his commercials on TV as sprout told me all about the latest product….. do you all remember  Ho ho ho Green Giant.  Now I get to fly to the beautiful land of the Green Giant and see how and where all those tasty vegetables come from.

Being that I was raised on a farm this is totally in my comfort zone.  Being in a room full of tech savvy women may scare the pants off me.  But put me in the middle of a farm and I am a happy girl ready to get some work done.  Yip that is right I can’t wait to get my hands dirty, and see up close how those vegetables get from the field to my kitchen table.   Or maybe get to taste those amazing vegetables right from the field?

More details to come but just wanted to tell you all the exciting news!

Did you know Green Giant is also grown and processed right here in ID? The Seneca Foods (parent company of Green Giant) plant in Buhl does carrots, peas, and corn.

i dressed 2 of my kids as the jooly green giant and little sprout for halloween one year !!! :) they took first prise in a contest
