Apple Cars, Have Fun With Food

We all want our families to eat healthy, right?  But lets be honest, sometimes it gets boring, doesn’t it?

I thought this was a great way to get kids to eat their healthy snack.  It even worked on my 11 year old who thought they were cute enough to eat!

You will need:

An apple cut into slices

Grapes cut in half

toothpicks

Push the toothpicks through the bottom of the slice and place a half grape on the end.

Easy as can be right?!  Who wouldn’t love eating this cute snack?  Get the kids involved and let them help make them.  What a great way to get the kids involved in the kitchen.
