I am a stay at home mom with four wonderful kids. I have been married for over 10 years to my best friend. I am head over heels in love with him. He always supports my crazy "thrifty adventures". We have a lot of fun together. I was raised on a small dairy farm. Where I learned very young, the value of hard work and how to be thrifty in all areas of life. Growing up our meals were made from scratch. Only on special occasion would we get name brand cereal, chips, or any other fancy treats. Now that I am a Mom with my own budget, the basic foods always comes first. I too make most of our meals from scratch and take pride in feeding my family a well balanced healthy diet. I enjoy seeing how far I can make our budget stretch, and when I take the time to match sales with coupons I am able to get all those "fun & fancy" items that would other wise be out of my budget. Being thrifty has always been a way of life for me, but it has also become a real joy.

Breath Right Strips low as .24 cents
Thanks to Heidi for passing this along, I found Breathe Right Strips (children size) on clearance at Target for $1.24 regular $4.99. I had coupons for $1.00 off of any Breathe Right product. I think the coupon was in the 1/3/10 inserts. I hope others can find this deal….24cents for a box of strips is a good deal! Please note that not all stores clearance at the same time, so do not rush out to find these. But if you are at Target they are worth looking for! today my hubby found a Mr. Potato Head gift set in the clearance toys at target was $16.99 reg price, now on sale $8.48. It comes with Mr. & Mrs potato head plus 35 parts. He showed me and I had a coupon for $2off 1 mr. potato head toy from coupons.com ended up paying $6.48 for it. Makes a great gift. I will go back for 2 more before they run out for my nieces’ xmas gifts i know it seems far but this way I get them cheap
