Caramel Apple Salad Recipe ~ Recipes with fresh apples

Caramel Apple Salad, Awesome dessert recipe to use fresh apples

We all have our “weak spot” I can pass up most desserts… but put me near a caramel apple and I am willing to fight for it.  So this recipe for Caramel Apple Salad is one of my favorites for sure.   I might also be guilty from hiding the left overs in the very back of the refrigerator where my children can not find it.  So I can enjoy it, with a big ole spoon in my pj’s later that night (hey don’t judge me lol).

It is so good!!! Made it a few years ago for a family gathering and people loved it!

Since I am allergic to nuts what would be a candy I could use for it. Or something to get the caramel flavor? Any suggestions?

I actually made this snickers salad today but my recipe is a bit different. Family loves this stuff. There are many different variations out there for it. For the caramel apple version I use caramel ice cream topping drizzled over it!

We call that Snickers Salad in these parts. 🙂 Of course, candy in the name of a salad seems like an oxymoron. I’ve also made it with grapes instead of apples, because my husband is allergic to raw apples. It’s still delicious, in case you were wondering.
