Thanks to Bev for Passing this info along,
The Nampa School District is offering free breakfast and lunch for kids ages 1 through 18. Breakfast is from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.There are various locations serving the meals including ParkRidge Elementary, Sherman Elementary, East Valley M.S., West M.S., and Columbia H.S.
We went today, and the lunch was great…kids loved it! The cook told me they only had 5 kids come for lunch and wants us to spread the word so the food doesn’t go to waste. There is no income restriction on who gets lunch…anyone is welcome. Let your friends know about this great FREE service!
I know that Caldwell and Boise do this as well….but I do not know the times or locations.

I found a really good deal this morning the address is 8318 Bloomfield Dr in Boise. They are selling tomato plants for $2.50. The plants are huge (2-3 feet) and several already have blossoms. Plants this size would cost $5 to $7 in the store. So if you are a late planter or have more room, I’d try them out. They have a few different varieties. They posted a coupon at:
http://athriftymom.com/wp-content/uploads//2012/05/tomatoescoupon.jpg
The coupon/sale is good through Thursday. You can get $25 worth of tomato plants for $10.

I totally over looked these coupons in Sundays paper, I had to go dig them out of the recycle box. I found them in the Fred Meyer section of the paper. Thanks to Jenn for giving me the heads up on these! Hope you did not toss your Sunday paper already!

I don’t know if you noticed but in the Sunday Press Tribune there was a The Best of the Best
section for Nampa. On the front page was an ad for Wahooz and there were 2
coupons – BOGO free attraction pass and $5 or $3 off an adult or junior
unlimited fun pass. Combine these with a reduced rate gift card bought from
Costco and you could save a bit of money!
Thanks Jenn for this Thrifty Tip!

Thanks to Camille for this info, I have recently been contracted to sell all the Manufacture seconds for a company called Rowdy products. Rowdy products manufacture baby products. They make amazing diaper bags, that are completely CUTE and designed with mom in mind.

The bags retail for $89.00 – $120.00
I’m selling the seconds for $5.00 – $30.00.
Price is determined by the extent of damage. For example, a $30.00 bag might have a very small flaw that is not noticeable, or may be marked “could not find flaw”. A $5.00 bag will have major damage such as a defective main zipper.
Last chance sale will beheld June 6th, 7am – 3pm (If the bags last that long…)
Rock Hampton II Subdivision, (located near Lake Hazel and Cloverdale in Boise)
on the corner of Mardia and Apsley.

3 ways to get Salad dress .59 cents or LESS
Walmart
Kraft salad dressing is on rollback at Walmart for 1.59, not all stores rollback at the same time but something to check if you are in Walmart. If you use the $1.50 coupon in this upcoming sunday insert, that would make it only .09. ( Thanks Jill, and Hendricks family)
Winco Food
I was at the Winco on Front st. yesterday. They had 16oz Kraft salad dressing on sale for $1.98. Next to them was pile of pull off coupons for 1.50 off one. So that would make them .48. I thought that was a good deal. They were on the isle when you first walk in and there was only ranch, zesty Italian and thousand island there so I don’t know if any others are on sale. ( Thanks Mindy)

If you are local (Caldwell/ Boise) Don’t forget about the 25 cent sale Friday. ?What is the 25 cents sale? ?Other Mother is a store that sells gently used clothing for children, and expecting mothers. ?They pay you cash or give you in-store credit for the clothing, and toys they keep to sell in their store. ?But all the items they don’t take due to being, out of season, a little stained or if they just have to many of that size in the store, they ask you if you want to take your items back home. ?Or you can donate them to the 25 cents sale.?
So the 25 cents sale is ?toys, shoes, clothing, bottles, bedding…..you name it. ?I have found wonderful things there. ?So bring a large sack,( they are having it in the old Honks store next to Other Mothers in Nampa) It starts at 10:00 am ?I always get there by 9:45, and wait for the doors to open. ?You sort through the clothes full your bag, then sit off to the side. ?All the ladies always sort through the clothes to look at sizes, missing buttons, wear…..Each item is 25 cents. ?I can’t tell you how many cute things I have found there. ?It is like the best yard sale on earth!
The Nampa store always holds their sale the FIRST FULL Friday and Saturday of the month. ?The Boise store holds theirs the LAST FULL Friday and Saturday of the month. ?They put out new stuff each day.
