This is a coupon you may want to look  for at your local Albertsons.  On an end cap display of Sun Chips my local store had coupons for $1.00 off 1 bag of Sun Chips, it can be doubled….so only $1.19 a bag ( after coupon and double).  Great price for Sun Chips!

My good friend Kim called me to let m know about his Thrifty deal at Albertsons.  As part of the the Chill promo ( runs till end of March) you have to buy 10 participating items and you will get back a $10.00 catalina.  Well it looks like the Jose Ole Chimichanga’s are printing out the Chill catalina.  The best thing is they are on sale right now for only $1.00….so buy $10.00 ( $10.60 with tax) and get back a $10.00 catalina so you get them free.

Please note that this is one of those deals that may not work at all store, and no telling how long it will print for?  If it does not print then there is not much you can do to fix it…but it has been confirmed to work at 3 local Albertsons.  I am sure the stores will run out soon… being that they are not marked as part of the sale they most likely have limited amount on hand.  But you may ask for a Rain Check and lets hope the catalina prints all month.

ALWAYS looking for produce coupons.  Today at Alb’s I found a pad of coupons for $1.00 off produce when you buy any EarthGrain bread product (coupons were right above the EarthGrain bun display).  Unfortunately the expiration date is tomorrow……….aack……..and although we buy EarthGrain bread, I was completely out of their coupons.  So I came home and found a coupon for 75 cents off EarthGrain bread at http://www.earthgrains.com/OurBreads.aspx So I’m getting some much needed bread and free produce today or tomorrow!!!   There were also EarthGrain coupons on coupons.com for awhile if you printed them and 55 cent ones in the 2/07 Red Plum (at least in the Idaho Statesman).

You can use the coupon for the bread as well as the coupon for the produce, because one is taking the money off bread the other is taking money off the produce.  I have found it is best to hand over the produce coupon first….then the one for the bread.  I know some stores will not let you use both…but most will.  Hopes this helps some of you get a good deal!

Just a heads up, on the ad the Single serve pizzas are the only ones listed as part of the chill promo…..but the ad also states to check your local store flier for the full list.  I am not sure if they are listed on that list or not.  This may once again be one of those deals that only print  at some stores.  Till I see the list at the store I can’t confirm they will  print at every store.  I think $1.49 for a large family pizza is a great deal and was worth passing along.  Hope some of you are able to get in on this deal!

I told you a few weeks ago that I thought the huge post cereal sale may come this month at Albertsons.  I have had readers in several different areas all tell me the sale is suppose to start on March 17th, which is only a week away.  Here is the deal …..the Post catalina will only run the first 5 days of the sale….so you will want to plan to shop the the sale early.

Now the local store I shop at has always provided a “mountain” of cereal and I am pretty they will not run out…. But if you happen to shop at a store that does not always stock up for these big sales, you may ask them to order extra, or place a special order for you.  I do not know for sure but it sound like with sale price and catlaina you will be able buy them in groups of 5 for only .78 cents a box ( after catalina)

Now if you were lucky enough to get the Post Cereal coupons in your area, a few weeks back that will make them only .28 cents a box….and if we get double coupons with this sale…..They will be FREE.  You can get these coupons on Ebay, or other coupon sites, you may want to order them.

I know most if not all Albertsons stores ran out of the Old Orchared Juice they had on sale this past week as part of the Chill Promo.  I wanted to let you know that the rumor is the Chill Promo will run the whole month of March.  Prices on the items will change but the buy 10 get a $10 catalina should stay the same.  SO you may want to get a rain check for the juice and my hope is the catalina will still print all month long, allowing you all to stock up on this great price!  Hope that helps.

So this weeks Chill promo at Albertsons they have Old orchard juice on  sale for $1.29 ( grape, pineapple orange, cranberry), buy 10 get back a $10 catalina.  Which makes them only .29 cents a great deal, if you use  one printable coupons for $1.00 off 4 it makes them only .4 cents each.  Or with doubles FREE.

But I noticed in this weeks ad that they have the Apple  or Apple juice blends on sale for only .99 cents.  In the ad they are not listed as part of the catalina chill promo.But on a flyer in the frozen food section lisiting all the items on the Chill promo, they have Juice blends listed.  SO I decided to see if they would print a catalina.  I bought 10 juices, apple and apple blends…..and  THE CATALINA PRINTED.  So 10 things of juice, pay $10 plus tax get back a $10 catalina……which means FREE JUICE.

PLEASE REMEMBER that they are listed on one promo list but not the other…so if your catalina does not print for some reason, some stores may not honor it….others will.

I went to the Ustick and 5 mile store and they were SUPER nice and let me test to see which ones were working and which flavors were not. ALL the Apple Blend except the Kiwi strawberry Apple will work also the plain Apple works. So you can mix and match but at least at that store don’t include the Kiwi strawberry Apple. They also said they will be getting a bunch more in this Friday by early afternoon.

Update***I was at my Caldwell store this morning they still have tons of Fruit snacks left.  But  will not be surprised if they are gone by tonight.  They had all five check out lanes full…all with people in line.  BUSY BUSY BUSY…..Make sure you ask for rain checks.  Some lady’s had cart loads 200-300 at a time…..so at that rate they will be gone soon.

Today is the last day of the GM promo going on at Albertsons, buy $20.00  in participating products and get back a $7 catalina.  One of the items that is part of this promo is Reese’s Puffs cereal.  A new coupon came out yesterday that will make this a thrifty deal.  Print the .55 cents off Reese’s Puffs, which will make it only$1.08 after the $7 catalina.  OR if you use a double coupon it makes it only .53 cents a box!!!!

Today while I was at Albertsons I noticed the Kids Colgate is on sale for $1.00 ( normal price $2.39) if you use the coupon for  Colgate Max White, Max Fresh, Total, Sensative, or Kids toothpaste, 4.0 oz or larger .75 off 1 (3-13-10) Smart Source-2/21.  It makes is only .25 cents….,with a double coupon it is FREE.

For some reason the coupon did beep, but once the cashier check the coupon it is for the correct size, and for kids colgate so it meets the coupons requirements.  The Caldwell Stadium store ordered 50 cases of this….and they are hoping you come STOCK UP!!!  They have a large display in the front of the store, if you do not see it, just ask for it.

In todays Sunday paper you should find a single page Albertsons ad, and on the bottom of it is 3 twice the value coupons.  They are good for SEVEN DAYS!!!!You can use 3 twice the value (double coupons) per family per shopping trip.  They will double any coupon up to the value of $1.00 making that coupon twice its value.  SO if you use a .75 cent coupon it will double up to $1.50 or if you use a $1.00 coupon it will double to $2.00.  They will not double a coupon for $1.01 or more. They will not double a coupon that says do not double, or not subject to doubling.

General Mills Promo spend $20 get back a $7 catalina good towards your next shopping trip (basically 35% off)

The fine print on this reads that minimum purchase is AFTER manufacturer and store coupons, this not normally how it works.  Normally you get the $20 mark and then bring it down with coupons and your catalina will still print.  I will have to wait until tomorrow to see how this promo is working?  I hope this is a one time thing, and not a sign of things to come.  It also reads limit i per customer, so I wonder if  the catalina will “roll”?    This makes what would be a really good promo….into an ok promo.
