I am a stay at home mom with three wonderful kids. I have been married for over 8 years to my best friend. I am head over heals in love with him. He always supports my crazy "thrifty adventures". We have a lot of fun together.
I was raised on a small dairy farm. Where I learned very young, the value of hard work and how to be thrifty in all areas of life. Growing up our meals were made from scratch. Only on special occasion would we get name brand cereal, chips, or any other fancy treats. Now that I am a Mom with my own budget, the basic foods always comes first. I too make most of our meals from scratch and take pride in feeding my family a well balanced healthy diet.
I enjoy seeing how far I can make our budget stretch, and when I take the time to match sales with coupons I am able to get all those "fun & fancy" items that would other wise be out of my budget. Being thrifty has always been a way of life for me, but it has also become a real joy. .gif)

Like last week, there aren’t that many items listed in the ad, but you can probably find more participating products in store:
There are selected varieties of Kellogg’s Cereal on sale for $1.47,(limit 4 per purchase), and there’s a promotion going on called Kellogg’s Bonus Bucks (buy 3 participating products, enter codes at the Bonus Bucks site and receive a $10 certificate that can be used at many major retailers). The participating products are Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, Frosted Mini-Wheats Bite Size, and Raisin Bran. Raisin Bran is definitely included in the Ralphs sale, and the others might be as well (I’m out of town, so I’m very bummed that I can’t check myself). If you can find the specially marked boxes at Ralphs, then you’ll pay $4.41 and get a $10 certificate. The best part is that there is no limit on the number of certificates you can receive. As for coupons, you may have some from previously purchased packages,of Kellogg’s cereal, or you might be able to use the $1/1 printable for Special K Blueberry if it’s included in the sale. |

There’s also a catalina deal until 10/25 where if you buy 2 or more bags of Nestle or Wonka candy (11 oz or larger), you get a coupon for your next order (OYNO): Buy 2, get a $1 OYNO; Buy 3, get $2 OYNO; Buy 4 or more and get $3 OYNO.
