I am a stay at home mom with three wonderful kids. I have been married for over 8 years to my best friend. I am head over heals in love with him. He always supports my crazy "thrifty adventures". We have a lot of fun together.
I was raised on a small dairy farm. Where I learned very young, the value of hard work and how to be thrifty in all areas of life. Growing up our meals were made from scratch. Only on special occasion would we get name brand cereal, chips, or any other fancy treats. Now that I am a Mom with my own budget, the basic foods always comes first. I too make most of our meals from scratch and take pride in feeding my family a well balanced healthy diet.
I enjoy seeing how far I can make our budget stretch, and when I take the time to match sales with coupons I am able to get all those "fun & fancy" items that would other wise be out of my budget. Being thrifty has always been a way of life for me, but it has also become a real joy. .gif)

Safeway has a FREE Pasta Meal Event starting 1/31, looking for a special Sunday Insert from Safeway! The question always is: Is the $50 before or after Club Card and Coupons (the secret truth is sssshh…while they say you have to actually spend $50, it always works the opposite. Your total must reach $50 BEFORE club card & coupon savings.) Of course this could change at any time, that’s just been my experience. Thanks to Saving with Shellie for these Thrifty Safeway Deals The Safeway (and affiliates) ad this week has some pretty good deals in it. Also, since Safeway requires a minimum purchase of $20 in order to use those 12 Days of free products in-ad coupons, these great deals will be perfect to get your total up to $20. And remember, the $20 is AFTER you swipe your club card but BEFORE manufacturer coupons. Most stores triple coupons up to $.39 and double up to $.50. They will only multiply one like coupon and will not accept coupons on free items. This was taken into consideration when doing the matchup.
