About Us 
I am a stay at home mom with four wonderful kids. I have been married for over 10 years to my best friend. I am head over heels in love with him. He always supports my crazy "thrifty adventures". We have a lot of fun together.
I was raised on a small dairy farm. Where I learned very young, the value of hard work and how to be thrifty in all areas of life. Growing up our meals were made from scratch. Only on special occasion would we get name brand cereal, chips, or any other fancy treats. Now that I am a Mom with my own budget, the basic foods always comes first. I too make most of our meals from scratch and take pride in feeding my family a well balanced healthy diet.
I enjoy seeing how far I can make our budget stretch, and when I take the time to match sales with coupons I am able to get all those "fun & fancy" items that would other wise be out of my budget. Being thrifty has always been a way of life for me, but it has also become a real joy.

  I just wanted to pass along a thrifty deal that I found at Smith’s. They have a deal that if you spend $20 on Huggies products that you get a catalina back for $5. They have the Slip-ons for $9.39. I purchased 2 packages of diapers and a package of wipes for 1.99 to bring my total $20.77. I used (2) $3 off Huggies slip ons and (1) .50 off wipes coupons from the SS 10/23 insert. My total was $14.27 plus 1.25 in tax.
I got back two catalinas. The first catalina was for $5 that was advertised. The second catalina was for $3 and was from Huggies. This catalina deal started today and goes thru Nov. 27. If you buy 2 packages of diapers, you get $3 back. Buy 3 packages and you get $5, buy 4 or more and you get $6.
Figuring in the two catalinas, I paid $6.27 plus tax for 2 packages of diapers and 1 package of wipes. I was able to roll the 2 catalinas into my second transaction of diapers, so my second transaction was $6.27 plus tax and I got $8 more in catalinas to spend next time!

Don’t worry if you don’t have a Kroger/Smith’s family store near you – You can always price match it at Walmart. Coupon says on it that you can only use 4 in one transaction, so if you have more than 4 coupons, you’ll have to split your transactions.
