Couponing gives me the freedom to keep my son at home with me this summer instead of paying a daycare. I am self employed so I make my own hours, but now I don’t worry about money so much!

Couponing gives me the freedom to help save my family money. I am new at couponing and am only 16. I do most of it on my own; cutting coupons, finding great deals, and making our shopping list planned out. Because of couponing I know that when I goto college next year I will be able to get everything on my own since I have more knowledge on how to save money. So far I have saved my family over $1500 while spending under $400. I will just keep getting better at it and save my family more money!

Couponing gives me the freedom to TRAVEL! I was just able to take a two week trip to Spain, a dream come true for me, to celebrate my 15th wedding anniversary with my husband. I used my coupon savings to save 15.oo per week for FIVE years to go towards this trip and was able to pay with cash for everything we did. Then, I saved all of our coins for 5 years and was able to have 389.11 of spending money just by saving my pennies! It was a glorious time of re-establishing our marriage which is the foundation of our family. Thank you Couponing for giving me a dream of traveling to Spain (where my ancestors are from) and for the gift of celebrating my marriage.

Couponing has helped me to get more on groceries. My fiance was on workman’s comp, and we had a few problems with insurance’s and his work, for a while he wasn’t getting paid at all, so it helped me cut down the grocery bill so that we can afford to buy all the things that we need and pay the bills. There are 4 adults we were buying groceries for because we were helping out family. I am so thankful for the coupons I have found.
Also it’s inspired me to look for ways to donate, I am planning on overloading on pet supplies and making a donation to my local spca soon, now he’s getting a pay check again.

I am a single mom on a limited income. I am new to couponing and learning how to coupon and then continuing to do so month after month has allowed me to provide for my family. It has also taught me how to begin stockpile slowly to continue to provide us. This has been a blessing in a way that I could never have imagined. It is exciting to get the free milk and be able to use catalinas to continue with other purchases.
I am blessed to be able to stretch my dollars to provide quality food for my family and create a stockpile for later use at the same time!! Thank you to all who provide tips for us!

Couponing has given my sister and I the ability to take out no more student loans for the last two years of our college. I knew paying my way through college, along with all the typical bills of life, would be difficult. However, since couponing, my sister and I have been able to save enough money to cover the college costs out-of-pocket. We each work at least two jobs at a time, along with going to school full time, and we both feel so refreshed to no longer add to the debt of school. It isn’t easy, but every little bit helps!

Couponing has given us the freedom to choose a school for my son and pay for activities for him to do. While he is only in nursery school, I didn’t feel “boxed in” to only look at a few schools that we could afford, instead, because we use coupons for almost everything, we had some freedom and know that we are doing the best for him! It’s an awesome feeling! Thanks for your blog, you are changing lives!

Couponing gives me the freedom to provide for my family AND help others. You see, before I learned how to coupon, it seemed like I was doing one, or the other. We give 10 percent of our earnings to our Parish, and I donate anything I can to a local charity, TARC. This organization is near to my heart, as my oldest daughter is 18 and has Autisum. Her weekly therapy, medication, and social therapy come out of pocket, and cost quite a bit of money, and TARC has been there for me when I could not make ends meet, so I donate time, food, clothing ect. whenever I can. Coupons have allowed me to give so much more to them, and my family than I ever have before. This website, along with so many others, have helped me to do that. Thank you so much – Amy, Katie, and Paige.

Couponing gives me the freedom to try new things. For years I have been buying the Betty Crocker brand of scalloped potatoes, but I had some coupons for Hungry Jack brand instead. So I tried them and my family loves them more than Betty Crocker and they are cheaper on a regular basis…score 1 for mom! I also love the fact that if I am too busy to go shopping one week, I still have plenty of food in food storage to feed my family. What a blessing!

Couponing gave and continues to give me the freedom to… quit my second job and be home with my family. A while back my husband and I sat down and looked at the budget – like so many others, there was more going out than coming in. After cutting out everything we could we still weren’t making it so I took a 2nd job and started couponing. I worked for 3 months before I decided enough was enough – I was tired of sacrificing my family for the sake of my family! Since then we have continued to cut where we can and build our stockpile. Amazingly we are not only able to pay back creditors but we are eating better and most of all finally enjoying being a family again!!

Couponing Gives me the freedom to provide for my family of 4 and those in my immediate family. The ecomony has not been kind to my family with my mother, father and brother out of work. Couponing allows me to not only provide the supplies that my family needs, but also allows me to supply for my immediate family.
In addition to taking care of the family, it allows us extra money to do things that we like to do such as going to movies and dinner every now and then.

I have been using coupons off and on since the 70?s. There were times I just did it casually, other times with a vengeance. I also traded coupons but I always used at least some for the brands I always used. With the economy the way it is and being on a fixed income now I am back to using coupons with a vengeance. We are a large extended family and every penny counts.

We have a family of 9 so you can guess it does get quite expensive here.Since staring to use coupons I have not been stressing over the cost of our daily needs. It teaches my children the value of every dollar we have to spend.
They already know if they see a product and want it,if there is no coupon or it is not on sale,we will not buy it.My husband works very hard to support us and I have taught my children from a young age, just because you WANT it does not mean you NEED it.
They went years without electronic games. All the newest toys or clothes. They learned to love board games, read books, playing outside.Being together as a family instead in front of the tv or playing on their game consoles.
With the money I have saved using coupons we have invested in a Wii game console and games for the family. They appreciate it more now that it took a while for us to get one. They look forward to the one day a month we go to the store and get a new game for us.
They still pick board games and being outside over the Wii. This makes me one proud mom

couponing has given me the freedom to build a stockpile of personal care items. not extreme, but big enough that i can share with some of my extended family. also, by signing up my immediate family members on various websites for exclusive birthday offers, my daughter received several coupons for free items the month of her birthday! (toys r us, build a bear, etc.) and all of these coupons were straight dollar amounts without a purchase price bigger than the coupon amount so she is able to go pick out items completely for free. my kiddos love to help me coupon, but i think it just became a whole lot cooler now that they are getting their very own coupons in the mail:)

Couponing gives me the freedom to provide not only what my family needs, but also my students. I teach in an inner-city school, and am (usually) able to have a supply of deodorant, soap, toothbrushes/toothpastes, feminine products, bandaids, snacks, and school supplies on hand for those that need them. I can also pick up great prize incentives for students that work hard! It brings me great joy to bless my own 2 kids at home, and my other 22 kids at work!

I have just recently started couponing because my husband is still in school and our budget is tight. I am still learning the ropes but have noticed we are able to stretch our money a little more and don’t worry so much. My husband works so hard to support us and our baby so knowing that I can do my part with the coupons does help. I hope I can get better and find the deals.

Couponing helped us send our oldest daughter to zoo camp this year. She has been talking about being a zoologist for years and through my penny pinching with the coupon deals we find here we saved enough so she could go. The best part was on the last day she gave me a huge hug and said thank you for the sacrifice. Thanks for all the time you guys take to help make this happen.

Couponing gives me freedom to know that I can feed my family on my strict $330.00 a month foodstamp budget. My spouse doesn’t make a lot of money and when you have to feed a family of 5 on food stamps alone, it gives me the peace of mind to know that I may have a little bit of extra money to buy not just what we need, but maybe what we want once in a while.

Couponing gives me the freedom to focus on expanding our family. My husband and I have been actively working with the fertility clinic in our area in hopes of find the right treatment plan to help us build our family. Since insurance only pays for diagnostic tests we are left with the increasing payments for treatments. Using coupons has allowed us to focus a little more of our budget for medical expenses.

Couponing is helping my husband of 10 months and I begin our marriage on firm financial ground. We have a balanced budget that uses only his income so that if God blesses us with a child, I’ll be able to stay at home. Meanwhile, we’re saving for emergency funds, a car that will need to be replaced, and home improvement projects. Coupons have really helped with those goals!

“Couponing Freedom” is exactly what it has given me! Since starting to coupon I have freedom to spend extra time with my family doing fun things rather than spend it on full priced groceries. I would spend 100 dollars at the gorcery store on one meal but now that has all changed since starting my stockpile. I have the Freedom to enjoy life with my loved ones and not fret if we are passing that weeks budget. It also has enriched my life by feeling the satisfaction of personally saving my family money!!

I have been couponing about 3 months now and have gotten significant savings at several stores. We now have 4 people in braces: myself, my husband, our 15-year-old son, and soon our 12-year-old daughter. We need to find $400 a month out of our 1-income budget to pay for braces for the next 16 months. With coupons, I’m hoping to be able to keep a large portion of our income in our checking account and pay cash for these braces every month.

I have only been trying to coupon for 3 weeks now, but it has given me the freedom to teach my kids how to save money, shop wisely & work together to start saving money. It isn’t about who brings in the money but how we work together to live frugally (: We have found freedom in organizing our home & understanding everything that is needed to make our home function. I can’t wait to build a surplus!

I love the freedom couponing gives me to splurge on my family. I don’t feel bad playing for an activity, because I’ve saved money on the food we’ve eaten. Also I get to be more generous with the food I do have, because I got it at such a great deal.

Couponing gives me the freedom to be able to feed my family of 3 1/2 well balanced meals every day even though we are going through some very hard financial times. I’ve enjoyed couponing with my mom and grandfather since I was a teenager, but now it’s become a necessity. I am 8 months pregnant and was just let go from my job. My husband is currently our only income, and he’s on Workman’s Comp, but is recovering quickly from having his bicep reconnected. I’m really enjoying teaching him and our daughter (who are going to have to take over the shopping for a while very soon) how to get the best deals with the help of coupons and blogs like this.

Couponing has afforded my family many blessings over the years. First I left my Full-time Angiography Nursing position, to Homeschool our Son. That was 5.5 years ago!
The money I was able to save using coupons enabled me to leave that position, and continue to not have to work full-time.
Couponing has also allowed my family to give beyond our means. We also have paid off $24,000 in debt on 1/2 income due largely to couponing. Now that’s freedom!

Couponing gives me the freedom to help others! I have a huge heart and I love to help people, but it’s always been hard to help when we were always on such a tight budget. Couponing gave me the freedom to leave my full-time job in Washington DC when I had a baby in December. We moved back to our small hometown in NC and live on my husband’s salary (which is less than half of what we earned in the big city) so I can stay at home and raise our baby boy:)

Couponing gave me the freedom to become a stay-at-home mom when our family needed it the most. My husbands health rapidly declined the year our oldest daughter was born and by the time she was 6 months old he was on full disability and wasn’t even 30. I really like the freedom couponing gives me to spend more on fresh produce, etc and on name brand items that I never had as a kid. Using coupons allows my family to have lots of variety in food storage. And it has taught me that there is usually a way to save on everything, just by doing a little research on sales. This goes for non-grocery items too.

Couponing gives me the freedom to be able to purchase things we could not have to just get by for the month. My husband is a disabled vet-Michael needs constant care,so I’m no longer able to work. I also have a 17yr.old son,in his senior yr at school. The amount of money we receive on SSDI is very minimal to live on-so with couponing,we survive, paycheck to paycheck. I truely feel that with sites such as this one is a Blessing, otherwise many would not be able to feed there families. $1500 a month really doesn’t cover the bills the way they should be,let alone purchase clothing and shoes, for our son. I am so thankful to have found your site.

Couponing gives me the freedom to have money in the bank and a mini-grocery store in our house. It’s so much fun to shop from yourself when you need an item, plus it’s a hobby that my husband and I enjoy doing together. The other thrill we get besides saving loads of money is the time we put into couponing for our adopted military base in Grafenwoehr Germany. We send them 2 huge packets twice a month. And lastly, as if all that isn’t enough, we love putting together boxes of care packages for our friends and family and others who have need. And the best part about that is that even after giving so much away we’re still blessed with having plenty for ourselves too. And did I mention how satisfying it is to help new people learn how to coupon for themselves so that they can have couponing freedom too?

Couponing gives me the freedom to help others without taking away from my families needs.
A friend of mine got a call about a year ago, the mother of his children was fed up and he instantly became a single dad. she left him and the children in a house with no food, rent due and she took all the money for the month with her.
Because of my couponing and stockpile i was able to feed him and all 4 of his children for the whole month. I also give to our local food bank and have many other friends and family members that know if they cant afford it, they come shop at my house.
It fills my heart with joy knowing that I can help others and have an impact on my community without breaking the bank.

The first freedom couponing gives me, like most others, is that it allows me to be home with my children more. I thought I would be able to work and have children, but with my second child, it became apparent that getting up and leaving in the wee hours of the morning & coming home late at night meant I didn’t see my little angels 3-4 times a week. I very soon became quite depressed and began to resent my job. I prayed for the Lord to make a way when one didn’t seem possible. soon, a girl at work asked me to go to a couponing class with her. It was an answered prayer. The second freedom it gave me was to just believe. Walking in faith is easier. And third, it has freed me from depression to be with my children 6 days a week now instead of 3 or 4.
