Ham and Cheese Sliders Recipe – Make the Night Before – Quick and Easy

We love this recipe! We recently made them at the beach! Its so easy, you just make them the night before. Let the soak and then cook them for lunch the next day! So so so good. It’s one of the easiest and best recipes around!

You will need

  • 2 dozen rolls (sliced in half)
  • 1 lb Swiss Cheese sliced
  • 2 Lbs sliced Ham

Sauce:

  • 1 Cup Butter melted
  • 4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Poppy Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

It will  be a recipe we make again, for sure!

Slice rolls in half, and add ham and Cheese.  Then put top back on. Place them on a large baking sheet. I had to use 2 cookie sheets.

Mix sauce in bowl, and stir to help dissolve sugar.

Brush sauce liberally on top of each roll, Drizzle any extra over the top.

Cover, and place in the refrigerator overnight.

Bake the next morning at 325 degrees, for 25 minutes COVERED with foil.

Then remove foil and bake 5-10 minutes longer.

Chicken and white bean chili recipe

Are you looking for a quick and easy dinner idea?  This Chicken and White Bean Chili taste like you slaved over the stove all day making it… but you can make it in less than 30 minutes.  My kids don’t like to eat it with a spoon, but give them some tortilla chips and they eat it right up!

You will need

  • 3 can white beans (northern style white beans)
  • 2 can chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken ( you can used canned if your short on time)
  • 1 can corn
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup cilantro chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toppings – sour cream, shredded cheese, cilantro and tortilla chips

Add all the ingredients into a large pot bring to a boil, turn heat down and let simmer for 15 minutes on low.  If you wish to make it a little thicker you can mash some of the bean up to thicken the broth. Serve hot, top with sour cream, shredded cheese, cilantro and tortilla chips

 I Love to stock up on deals like this and stock the freezer. These Coconut Snowballs with Hot Fudge Sauce are one of my families favorites.  The best part is you can make them days BEFORE the party, and  then just grab a frozen snowball and top with hot fudge and a strawberry for a FAST and easy dessert that looks so elegant.  I show you how to make them in the video below, be sure and check it out.

Start by first toasting 2 cups of flake coconut in the oven or in a skillet on the stove on medium/ high heat.  Stir continually so it does not burn. Take off heat and allow to cool.  Scoop balls of Breyers vanilla ice cream into your hands and form a ball. Roll the ball into the toasted coconut. Set on a plate, cover will plastic wrap and put back in freezer to harden up. Once you are ready to serve put on serving dish, drizzle with hot fudge and top with your choice of fresh fruit, we will strawberries. Boom… your done and you have a rockin awesome dessert :).
