CHICKEN PROJECT #684-698 QUEEN ESTHER’S ORPHANAGE HOME.

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock.

The following story talks about our visitation to QUEEN ESTHER’S ORPHANAGE HOME. chickens were donated, thanks to SHIRLEY TAYLOR ….. We donated fifteen (15) chickens. Thanks to generous donations.

This was on our arrival to the orphanage home, the older kid among them was teaching them on how to make use of the cleanable writing board which was also part of what was given to the the last time, I was very seeing them wisely making use of the bored to learn numbers and alphabets. All thanks to generous donation, the kids are making use of what was given to them to learn.

Here they are with the chickens that was brought for them, the kids were all very happy to receive chicken again after some months, the kids said they have been longing to receive chicken and this time they will enjoy it more even as Easter is fast approaching, there nursing mother will prepare it with rice, chicken pepper soup and the rest. All thanks to Generous Donation.

Here is one of there nursing mother that do take care of them also when others are not around then this is one of the little kid, just took a selfie picture with them, the baby doesn’t want to come down because of the chickens, she’s afraid of the chicken when still alive but when been killed, she can eat for Africa, smiles.

ALL THANKS TO GENERIOUS DONATIONS FOR ALL WAYS PUTTING A SMILES ON THE FACE OF THIS KIDS, THEY ALL REALY DO APPRECIATE.

After all, taking pictures and the rest, we then have to take the chickens to the place provided to keep them, so they now have a kind of small house to be keeping chicken any time we bring for them, feed them until the must have finish killing them and eaten.
