My 7 and 4 year old daughters decided Mommy needed a spa day. They had been reading all about spa days in Fancy Nancy’s book. They rubbed my feet, put lotion on my legs. Brushed my hair, put make up on my face, then smeared bananas on my face (that is what the silly book told them to do). They danced and played twinkle twinkle little star on the keyboard for my entertainment. Then they wrapped my hair in a towel and put a hot steamy towel over my face. I was trying to get some work done on the computer so I peeked out of the side of the towel. When my 7 year old announced, ” Mom just close your eyes and tell the blog you have a rag on your face… no more thrifty deals today”. I busted up laughing… so I shut my computer and enjoyed my spa day with my girls. Now we just need to get Fancy Nancy to write a book on doing the dishes and making dinner 🙂
