I had been using a similar one but it extended out pretty far, I still had room to wash my own hands and such but it was a tight fit. With this one my 2 year old can still reach it just fine but it gives the adults much more room. It’s also way easier to put on and off. With my old one I had to have my husband get it on and it stayed on all the time because I couldn’t manage it. With this one I put on very easily on my own and it’s so easy that I’m not going to mind removing it if I want to take it off for any reason. It fits my faucet securely and gives my child some independence which she really loves and looks forward to. In fact this has also gotten her to brush her teeth, she had started refusing but the new faucet cover gave her a way to do it more on her own so she is more than willing to brush now. Needless to say I am thrilled with this little gadget.
