FROZEN snowflake headbands, quick and easy DIY craft idea. All you need is Sharpie markers and alcohol.
Looking for a low cost but fun idea for your little FROZEN fan? You can make these snowflake tie dye head bands in less than 5 minutes. So fun for a Frozen Party craft idea. If you had time you could even do a whole pillow case or bed sheet this way.
White Handkerchiefs or strip of white fabric ( I used strips from an old white bed sheet)
Put the white fabric on top of the cups. Use the rubber bands to secure the fabric on to the cups. Make them tight so you can draw on the tops. Use the Sharpie markers to draw snowflakes on to the fabric stretched over the top of the cups.
Put the rubbing alcohol into the spray bottle, spray the tops of the cups. The alcohol will make the ink run and will blend your snowflakes into a fun tie dye look. You can take the rubber bands off at this time or leave them on. Set the fabric out in the sun to dry, or toss in the dyer if you are in a hurry.
Easy as that you have a snowflake head band perfect for your little Frozen fan. Like I mentioned above I used an old white sheet and ripped it into strips to create a headband for my girls. If you don’t have a sheet you can go to the fabric store and buy white fabric or pre made Handkerchiefs.
