Halloween Jack O’ Lantern Votive Holders

These cute, little, illuminating jack o’ lanterns are much simpler than carving an actual jack  o’ lantern without the mess!  These are so great for the kids to decorate themselves, and then watch for their surprise when you stick a battery operated candle inside.  These are the perfect addition to your holiday party, line your walk with them for the trick or treaters or just make them for a fun family craft!  I am all for a jack o’ lantern that doesn’t make a mess, or get moldy way too soon!

You will need:

Orange plastic disposable cups

black sharpie markers

battery operated votives

I am pretty sure no directions are needed, with your cup upside down, you simply use a sharpie to put a face on your jack o’ lantern and then stick a battery operated votive in the opening.  If you are going to stick these outside, I would suggest sticking a small rock or something on top to prevent them from blowing away.

Look how great they turn out in the dark!  My kids had a blast with these and can’t wait to make more!
