How to Soothe a Sunburn

How to Soothe a Sunburn

Sunburns are so painful. The first step is obviously prevention and using a good sunblock like this one. And wearing protective clothing like this hat.

But if you got burned working out in the yard, or forgot to reapply your sunscreen here’s how to soothe a sunburn.

Aloe Vera gel is a great and my go-to- way to soothe fried skin. While it works warm, I keep mine stored in the fridge so it goes on nice and cold. It feels so soothing on burned sensitive skin. Or if you have an aloe vera plant you can store the leaves in a ziploc in the freezer and then slice them open and apply them to a sunburn. The cold feels amazing and the aloe is so good for your skin!

Here are a few aloe gels to help soothe burned skin.
