MINION POPS ~ How to make Minions

These Minion Pops are a fun treat for a Minion themed party, or you could put them in a candy bouquet, or  in a treat bag with a ribbon around the bottom! No matter what you do with them, they are sure to make your kids smile!

You will need

• Bag of marshmallows
• Wilton Candy Eyes 
• Colored drinking straws
• Blue Melting chocolate
• Yellow Melting Chocolate
• Black Licorice 

Cut the Black Licorice into thin strips that you can wrap around the marshmallow as the glasses band, and short ones for the hair.  Melt the dipping chocolate according to package direction, normally 30 seconds at a time, stir till smooth. Dip the bottom 1/3 of the marshmallow into the chocolate, set on foil to cool.

Once the blue chocolate as dried, dip the top half into the yellow chocolate.  Wrap the licorice around hold into place as the chocolate cools a bit.  You can put on the eyes at this time, or wait till the chocolate firms up, then add a drop of melted chocolate to the back of the eye and attach it that way. Same with the hair, you can put it on while the chocolate is cooling or after. Once minion is cooled and chocolate is firm stick the straw into the bottom of the marshmallow.
