Money Maker on Stouffer’s at Walgreens

Before clearance price or coupons this would have cost $12.03

I was able to get it all for $1.05

Plus I got back a $1.00 register reward …so it is like getting it all for only .5 cents

IMG_1772Have I told you how much I love my local Walgreens? One of the managers told me about a VERY THRIFTY  hidden deal.  They had select Stouffers Frozen meals on super clearance for only .33 cents each. ( please note they were not even marked, so you may need to do a price check to find them at your local stores)  At only .33 cents each these are a great deal…but it gets even better.  When you buy 2 you get back a $1.00 register reward….turning this into a MONEY MAKER.  Plus it printed out at coupon for $1.00 off your next 5 Stouffer’s meals.

So if you buy 2, pay .66 cents and then get back a $1.00 RR makes it a money maker.

Here is the break down of my purchase

  • Stouffer’s on clearance .33 cents each = .99 cents
  • 6 cents tax = $1.05
  • Pay $1.05…then a $1.00 RR prints along with a $5 coupon
  • Final price 3 meals for .5 cents A VERY THRIFTY DEAL

Please note that this was a clearance deal and not all store mark down at the same time, but worth looking for at your local store!

I’ve noticed that Walgreens has alot of great closeout prices on food! Last week I got a Mrs Smith’s apple pie for $1.74 and a Gorton shrimp bowl for 90¢. I’m going to be really keeping my eye out for those bright orange tags in the future!

It’s either $0.33 or 33 cents, not .33 cents.
.33 cents is like paying one third of a penny.
