I taught a coupon class Tuesday night, and since then I have been received tons of questions about my coupon binder. So I thought it may be a good thing to address again on a blog post!

If you have been reading my blog very long, you know how much I love my coupon binder. Without it couponing would not be worth my time! I love being able to flip right to the coupon I need and have it already cut and ready for me to use. I have had a few of you tell me that you have been able to find these Case-it binders at Target for $19 but they are the ones with 2 smaller rings. ( mine has a large and small ring)

Thanks for sharing. I copied you http://kd7srd.blogspot.com/2011/02/new-coupon-binder-since-other-new-one.html
I found my binder on Amazon.com for like $13!! It’s a Five Star 2 inch 3-ring binder; it zips all the way around, has zippered storage and a 6 pocket expanding file. I love it! I had to upgrade from a 1 inch binder and this new one has made a huge difference! Everything is so nicely organized!! People stop me in stores all the time amazed by notebook! I watched the sale ads for the office stores to find when they had their store brand picture page protectors on sale and ended up getting them really cheap. I have found that they do work better than the business or baseball sized, since there are all different sized coupons, however, I do still use the baseball sized ones. I try to cut all my coupons as close as I can without cutting any of the bar code off and I can get a lot of them to fit in the smaller pages. The picture sized pages are great for bigger ones and sometimes I’ll store like coupons in those. I also try to put like coupons in order of expiration date so that I don’t have to dig to find which one will I need to use first.
Hello. I really like this binder. I started using a binder but got discouraged because I found the baseball card pockets too small. I would like to know how the photo sheets are working for you. I assume they work better than the baseball card sheets but you would need a lot more of the photo sheets since they only have 3 or 4 pockets instead of 9 pockets and this would make the binder bulkier. Do you clip and file each and every coupon from the inserts or do you only clip the ones you think you will use? Finally, where do you buy and how much do you pay for the photo sheets? I am sorry for all the questions but I am still deciding which organizing method to use so your input is very much appreciated. Thanks for sharing!
I found mine at Staples for $20…love it!
I made my binder into a one stop shop. Household organize, Save receipts, Birthdays, Calendar, Contacts it is all with my coupon binder ! It works geat for me. My Household stuff is very simple so not sure this would work for everyone but I love having only one source for all my info and it is so organized! I never loose anything !
