My Thrifty Walgreens deals

Before sales, discounts and coupons this would have cost $36.85

I was able to get it all for $5.41

Plus I got back a $5.00 catalina for buying 3 Snuggle Dryer Sheets

All 2x Detergent or Snuggle Fabric Softener 26-32 loads $4.49

  • get back $5.00 Register Reward when you buy three
  • use $.50 from 5/17 R ed Plum – Snuggle
  • use $.40 from 5/10 Red Plum – All
  • Final Price: 3/$6.97-$7.27 or $2.32-$2.42 each

Scotch Packaging tape $3.99 on clearance for .89 cents I had a coupon from 5/31 Red Plum for $1.00 off 2 making them only .37 cents each.

Scotch Pop up tape was $1.99 on clearance for .50 cents each I had $1.00 off 2 coupons from tape I bought at Christmas time, with the coupon and clearance price they were  FREE.

My total came to $15.41 I paid with a $10.00 catalina that I got from the Hair Dreyer sale last week….making my total due $5.41.  But I also got back a $5.00 catalina.  Thanks Walgreens for the Thrifty deal!

My Walgreens in Riverton Utah did not have the Scoth packaging tape on clearance. Is it only select Walgreens that have these clearance advertised? This also happened to me last week at Target when she showed the Dawn simple pleasures and deoderant on clearance, my Target did not have them advertised on clearance. Thanks for you response I love your website!

Monica…. clearance items are not the same in all areas they tend to be items that the store has an over stock on and need to move….so it is never really the same

How much were the dryer sheets before coupons?

The dryer sheets were $4.49 before coupons and RR it think they are even more than that normal price

I keep wondering why they call the coupons catalina? Any idea? Just curious. :)

Liz the company that places the little machines that print the coupons is called Catalina….so the coupons that print from that machine are now called catalina coupons…hope that helps
