Quick and easy potato corn chowder ~recipe from stockpile

Thanks to Katy for passing this thrifty recipe idea along… best part is it came from her coupon stockpile.

I created a new soup tonight. Ok so the idea is not new but the flavor is. A little while back I had coupons for Idahoan potato pouches. I bought the roasted garlic and parmesan baby reds. they are good as mashed potatos and as good or better in this soup.
Quick and easy potato corn chowder

  •  1 can corn drained
  •  1 pouch Idahoan roasted garlic and parmesan baby reds

Put water and chicken broth in medium sauce pan bring to boil add diced potatoes cook until tender
add corn and potato pouch stir well and let sit 5 mins until thickend. if you like your soup thin add a little water. I like mine thick.
