The 4th of July tends to be a HOT day here in Idaho and we are always looking for a cool treat to make the day special. These Red, White and Blue Pudding Pops are quick and easy and just make you feel patriotic looking at them. You can make them ahead of time too, so you’re not stuck in the kitchen while everyone else is having fun.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Milk
- 1 3 oz. Pkg. Vanilla or White Chocolate Pudding
- 1 3 oz. Pkg. Red Gelatin
- 1 3 oz. Pkg. Blue Gelatin
- 1 1/3 Cups Boiling Water
Instructions
In separate bowls combine 2/3 cup boiling water with each gelatin. Stir 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
Pour Gelatins into 2 separate containers approximately 8 inches by 4 inches. You can use rectangle resealable container or a loaf pan. Be sure to lightly oil or spray to ease the unmolding process.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Cut gelatins into ¼ inch cubes.
In a large bowl whisk the milk and Pudding mix together.
Gently stir in the gelatin cubes. Don’t over mix or the gelatin color will start to run.
Spoon into freezing container of your choice. Popsicle molds, 3-5 oz. Paper cups, Ice cube tray. If you use plastic I recommend lightly oiling or spraying to help remove from the mold.
Insert a handle of your choice. You can buy Popsicle sticks. You can also use a plastic spoon or fork or several tooth picks bunched together.
Freeze a minimum of 4 hours.
Sherry Allen if we used the sugar free we could cut the carbs enough for Dakota to have.
They are going to love them 🙂

Got Popsicle molds from the dollar store and am totally going to surprise my kids by making these for their first day of summer vacation. 🙂
