My 7 year old daughter has been playing school with her younger sister all summer. The other day she had art class, and they decided they were going to make sea creatures. With a simple white piece of paper, some paint and a pair of scissors they whipped up some rather adorable octopus pictures. Such a simple but fun project for kids to make on a hot summer day!
On a 9×11 sheet of paper color the top 1/3 of the paper as the octopus head, round the edges with a pair of scissors to make it look more round. Once the paint is dry cut strips to create legs. This is great to help little ones with their scissor skills!
