Disneykids Preschool Party Playdate
Thanks to Disney Kids for sending us a package to create a preschool party for my little ones and their friends. You can watch my kids “un-box” the whole package here. It was filled will all kinds of fun treasures. We decided to have a Mickey Mouse/ Lion Guard party. First off we had to get our crowns and pirate hats on! Disney sent us these cool hats that are a pirate hat on one side and a Sophia the first crown on the other side. This was perfect since we had both boys and girls at our party and they each wanted something different.
One of our treats was Mickey Mouse Cupcakes, these were so easy to make. I just baked a box cake mix, then frosted them with chocolate frosting and to make the Mickey heads I used Mega M&M’s for the head and normal M&M’s for their ears. We also had Lion Cub Oranges and Animal Nesquik Party Cups you can see tutorials on how to make these below. These chocolate treats were sure yummy but left some of the kids a little messy… good thing all laundry sent along some sample packs of laundry soap to get these kids clothes clean again! This is a brand we already use in our house, so I totally saved the sample pack for the next time we travel, that way I can wash my clothes in a detergent I am use to.
Next we played Disney themed bingo, 4 corners, a fun matching game and even character charades. Let me tell you these kids might not be very old, but they sure know their Disney characters it was fun to watch them play! One of the funnest games we played was Pin The Smile On Mickey. We had a huge Mickey Mouse head and the kids took turns being blind folded, then spinning 3 times and then taping a smile to Mickey. They would peek over the blindfold after they stuck it to the wall and giggle, so much fun! You could easily recreate this game at home by making your own Mickey head out of black plates or black paper. We also made Lion Puppet, you can see how to make them via the link below.
Once again I wanted to thank DisneyKid, for sending this fun preschool playdate package. Also to the sponsors I Love To Create, Banfield Pet Hospital, all laundry, Glad, and Nesquik for the fun items they sent to make our party magical!
