I also heard that the Johnson & Johnson baby powder 1.5oz ($1.29) produces 1 RR. I have 3RR from the Oreo Cakesters so I’m going to get the toothpaste and powder tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll come out with 4RR!

I am so frustrated with Walgreens. Yesterday, I decided to try this couponing there for the first time. I had a $1 off coupon for Aquafresh. It worked great and I got a $3 register reward. I did have to do 2 separate transactions to get each $3 reward. However, today when I went, I used another $1 off coupon I had and plus I had $6 in register rewards that I put towards it. I bought some other things with coupons and my total was $6.57. No register rewards printed out and the cashier told me that they won’t print out if you use coupons or register rewards to purchase the items. I showed her my receipt from last night and told her that wasn’t true. She argued with me and I’m not a confrontational person so I let it go but I ended up spending more money than I wanted to and didn’t get the free toothpaste. What is the real deal with Walgreens?

ShanRene,
If you use the toothpaste RR to buy more toothpaste she is right another one will not print. But if you use a toothpaste RR to buy another itme like lysol then yes another one shouldhave printed out for you. You can always call customer service or the catalina company 1-888-8coupon

Walgreens has the Organix shampoos & conditioner on sale B1G1 FREE this week (Reg. $6.99 each). When I went about half of the bottles also had a tag for a $6.99 rebate. That makes them both FREE! Yay!
Also, I found an end-cap display that had the small Johnson’s body lotions (2oz) for $1. If you use the $1/1 MFC from SS 5/17 they are FREE as well!

I found the cakesters in Wisconsin for 2/$5, but it required a purchase of a gallon of milk to get the $3RR. I don’t get it. I’m going to check again at another store, that one was out of my area.

The Rolaids at my Walgreens in Denver did not ring up at $2.99. They rang up at $3.99..and i was hesitant to try it. They did have the big bottles at 3.99 with a $2.00 RR though…so it would end up being .99 cents for a big bottle.

I went to a few Walgreens in Meridian and found only a few left at the Overland & Meridian Rd store yesterday. They were 2 for $5. The other Meridian stores were 2 for $5 but didn’t have any left. With deals like this they go fast!

anyone know where the oreo cakesters are 2 of $5? All the stores I’ve been to they are 2 for $7…. I live in the Boise ID area.

Thanks

Greg my store in caldwell had them marked 2 for $7 but they rang up for 2.99 for the first one and 2.01 for the second one….hope that helps

Kathy June 20, 2009 at 12:25 pm

Is there something that we have to sign up for to get the register rewards?

A Thrifty Mom June 20, 2009 at 3:23 pm

Kathy, no you do not have to sign up for anything….just prints after you pay
