Mine’s about $100, but I can make it less if I need to. I have cut it down some and am working on cutting it down more.

Cyndi Monroe March 3, 2010 at 2:18 pm

Hi!! Love your site, since finding it we’ve been eating good in our own hood (dining table) I have an autistic child with severe food allergies, her food runs about $65 a week, not many coupons or sales on her stuff. But with another 60 a week I feed the other five of us (and our herd of cats) and we don’t have breakfast for dinner every week anymore! Plus if it’s a really rough paycheck (whims of the overtime world), we could probably go about 2 weeks with just getting milk, which is such a blessing in itself. Love your website, such a time saver, and a family vacation saver!!

Casandra March 3, 2010 at 2:01 pm

My budget is around $50.00 a week. This includes meat and fresh veggies and fruit. Does vary. Depending what on sale and how much I stock up. For a family of 5

Robin Baker March 3, 2010 at 1:55 pm

I subcribe also. I have been following you for a few months and thank-you so much for helping me to save money!

Kalla March 3, 2010 at 1:54 pm

My budget for my family is around $100 but normally is more like $60-$80

Robin Baker March 3, 2010 at 1:54 pm

Been a google friend for a few weeks! Love your blog!

Robin Baker March 3, 2010 at 1:52 pm

I try to spend no more that 60.00 per week for 5 of us.

alice March 3, 2010 at 1:46 pm

well we budget 125 a week for food h&b products basicly anything we eat use or touch ha ha but since my couponing i know it wouldnt come close to that

Tara J March 3, 2010 at 1:37 pm

My weekly budget for myself, my husband, and my eight month old averages $85.00.

Julie March 3, 2010 at 1:33 pm

I’ve been following your blog for a little over a year now!

Julie March 3, 2010 at 1:32 pm

I don’t have a specific budget for each month, but I feel good if I can keep the total under $100 a week for my family of three.

Neva March 3, 2010 at 1:26 pm

Been following you for about a year. It’s been fascinating.

Burgundy March 3, 2010 at 1:08 pm

I am new to all of this coupon stuff–I’ve been at it for a little over a week. Thanks so much for all of the tips!!! It’s helped my experience go from overwhelming to exhilerating!

Bobbi F March 3, 2010 at 12:56 pm

My weekly budget for food is $50, and my personal care items weekly budget is $15. I have a family of 4.

Kit March 3, 2010 at 12:45 pm

Hello! I really haven’t started a weekly budget – since I’m new to couponing and starting to “stock up” when things are on sale. I live in rural MT – so there aren’t as many great deals as the ones I see all of you getting. But some weeks are better than others:) Thanks!

Teri March 3, 2010 at 12:40 pm

I know this might sound crazy, but maybe not to all you “thrifty moms”: I know I keep my weekly budget under $100 and thats for all food and personal items!

Amanda March 3, 2010 at 12:24 pm

Our budget is about $60/week. It may be going down soon a bit more because all this couponing has really been paying off!

Keri March 3, 2010 at 12:03 pm

My weekly budget for food and personal items is probably a little higher than most because I am new to couponing and trying to create the stock-pile, but right now it is somewhere between $60 and $75 and trying not to spend more than $300 per month. Last month I achieved this budget goal and look to decrease it this month.

Tatyana March 3, 2010 at 12:01 pm

My weekly bill is about $300 for the family of 6… I’ll be happy to cut it though :-)

Sunny March 3, 2010 at 12:00 pm

I’m a subscriber!!!!!

Valerie March 3, 2010 at 11:58 am

we have a weekly budget of around $100 for food and personal items for our family of 5.

Kerri March 3, 2010 at 11:53 am

Hey, just signed up for the news feed! Thanks a bunch! Would truly appreciate the inserts! :)

Sunny March 3, 2010 at 11:52 am

My budget for a week is $100. That includes gas, food, clothing, etc. It covers everything.

Kari March 3, 2010 at 11:39 am

We spend $150 a week on five people, (including two toddlers), for food and personal care items including pullups and diapers for nighttime. One of the toddlers is on a very restricted diet also, which is quite expensive! So he actually has about $50 a week just for him. I love my coupons I can use for the rest of us to make up for the more expensive foods he requires! Thanks for the great website! I check in several times a day! :)

Carol Ann Cordell March 3, 2010 at 11:28 am

I just signed up to follow you with Google Friend Connect :)

diana March 3, 2010 at 11:21 am

Weekly budget is approximately 40 for food and personal care.

Heidi March 3, 2010 at 11:20 am

My weekly budget is $100, but I may need to adjust because I’m not spending that much anyway…thanks to this website!

Brandi March 3, 2010 at 11:16 am

I’ve been subscribing to your blog for a couple weeks now and have already saved sooo much!

Pat Adams March 3, 2010 at 11:15 am

My Weekly Budget is 25.00. Just my hubby and me. We help out other family and friends with the deals I find. I would really like to win the inserts! Thank you for all your hard work!

Brandi March 3, 2010 at 11:15 am

My weekly budget for groceries is $120, but I’m trying to get that wayyyyyy down now that I’ve found couponing! Thanks for all your help!

Denise M. March 3, 2010 at 11:15 am

I have received your emails and blog feed for about a year now. Thanks for the awesome blog!

Denise M. March 3, 2010 at 11:14 am

Depending on coupon specials, our budget for two of us is about $30 a week. Of course, if there are some awesome deals, we will stock up and spend more…but then we usually just don’t go shopping for a week or two and eat out of our pantry/freezer.

Karina March 3, 2010 at 11:07 am

My weekly budget USED to be about $100-$125. Now, thanks to coupons and smarter shopping, it’s down to $75-$100. I’m trying to get it down even further – you show me it’s possible!

Lisa March 3, 2010 at 11:01 am

My weekly budget is $150 for a family of 5. My kids are older and that means they eat more..image that! lol

Tammy March 3, 2010 at 10:52 am

I have been receiving your feeds for about 1 month now and I LOVE it!

Sherri March 3, 2010 at 10:51 am

I’ve been receiving your feed for about 2 weeks now.

Tammy March 3, 2010 at 10:49 am

My weekly budget is $50. Before couponing, that would have been impossible but couponing has made it doable! I hope I win!

Evelyn March 3, 2010 at 10:47 am

I am subscribed!!

Evelyn March 3, 2010 at 10:45 am

My weekly budget for groceries and personal care items is $40….and then once a year when we get our taxes back, we also will spend an extra $100 or so stocking up on stuff!

Jennifer March 3, 2010 at 10:41 am

I’m currently bugeted $75.00 for a family of 5 including a infant. It was just reduced, it use to be $100 a week but thanks to your thrifty deals at Pathmark and Target I’m albl to drop it and I hope I can drop it even more. I just became a stay at home Mom and we went from two incomes to one.

thank you for your tips and congrats on your new addition.

melissa March 3, 2010 at 10:41 am

I do, I do!!! my weekly budget is $50 I am a huge couponer..some weeks its less and other weeks it may be a stockup week so a little more! love your sight!

jenissa March 3, 2010 at 10:40 am

We budget about 90.00/week for groceries, diapers, clothing, and household supplies.

Kara March 3, 2010 at 10:38 am

About $40 a week. I shop monthly, for my family it works. Totals out to $150 a month for our family of 3.

Sherri March 3, 2010 at 10:33 am

I’ve said it before, I post stuff about your site on FB all the time. I did it again today. My friends love the tips. My kids think I’m crazy!!

Sherri March 3, 2010 at 10:31 am

I would like to say my budget is about $100. But I know I spend more than that. With my new obsession of following your site and others with great deals, I’m hoping to cut that down. Or at least build my food storage while spending less. Seems like ya’ll get the best deals at Albersons and we don’t have those here, so I muddle through… Thanks for all you do to help us all save a few bucks.

Krystal March 3, 2010 at 10:28 am

Before I found this website, I would generally go to the grocery store with my list and spend between $100-$150 a week on grovceries. This usually occured on Sundays after church and I would go home feeling very dissatisfied with how much we had spent, and how little we had to show for it. My first week of using the coupons, I spent $60.00 and had so much more to show. I am getting better each week with matching coupons to ads, and it is actually really fun for me. I love to give my kids the coupons and have them help me find the items…they love it too!!!!

Melissa March 3, 2010 at 10:20 am

My weekly budget is $50 for food/diapers/toiletries etc. I love your blog and refer ppl to it all the time!! :) Thanks for all you do!

Rhonda W. March 3, 2010 at 10:19 am

My weekly budget for groceries and personal care for a family of 6 is $50.00.

Rhonda

Wendi March 3, 2010 at 10:10 am

For a family of four our weekly budget is right around $40-$50 bucks…unless there is a stock up item then I might splurge and do $60.00 :0) That all includes a little one in diapers still! Thanks for your blog!

mandy March 3, 2010 at 10:10 am

Leave a comment telling me how much your weekly budget is for food and personal care items…….

We have more like a monthly budget. Its not set in stone, if i need to spend more so be it. Groceries come before anything else. But we try to go under $450 for the month, for a family of 4 and a dog. This is all food, h&b, paper prodcuts, cleaning products and dog stuff.

Rachel A March 3, 2010 at 10:07 am

I do, I do. I want to win. I ususally spend $40-$50 a week on food and personal care.

Sherrie Evans March 3, 2010 at 9:40 am

Our weekly budget is about $100.

cindy March 3, 2010 at 9:37 am

usually around 135.00. For a family of 5

Christina Rever March 3, 2010 at 9:35 am

I just became single with 2 kids who are eating me out of the house. With the help of your site, we spend approx $125 per week and only eat in. But it’s a struggle.

This would help me so much!!

Kerri March 3, 2010 at 9:32 am

We’re in the process of setting a budget so we can do a better job of limiting, and keeping tabs, on our expenditures. We’re trying to get it to $75 per week and then lower it from there.

Casey March 3, 2010 at 9:24 am

Right now my weekly budget is $100 for a family of 4 with two dogs. I’m fairly new to couponing so I hope to lower this number as I get better at maximizing the deals. Thank you for a great site.

lori March 3, 2010 at 9:24 am

I spend so much money each week on groceries. I would say 150.00. We have 2 teenage boys and all of their friends that come to eat. We need help.

Miriam March 3, 2010 at 9:19 am

$75.00/month for a family of four. Teenage son with huge appetite and husband with high cholesterol – so I buy large quantities of healthy food.

Esther March 3, 2010 at 9:12 am

I subscribe!

Esther March 3, 2010 at 9:11 am

Our budget is about $75 each week.

Lisa B. March 3, 2010 at 9:11 am

Athena March 3, 2010 at 9:08 am
