Doing art projects is one of my girls favorite summer activities. In the mid day when the sun is beating down, it is nice to come inside where it is cool and do a quite activity. We listen to music and have fun creating! This is an “oldie but a goodie” I did it when I was little and my kids love it now.
Divide a piece of card stock into 4 equal parts. Gather ads from the Sunday paper that you can cut up. Then pick four colors you want to find in the ads. Use scissors to cut out words and objects that are the four colors. Fill your paper with the different colored items to create a collage! Simple, frugal yet a fun activity to do with your kids!
