Last week we got a package from #DisneyKids to create a preschool party for my little ones and their friends. You can watch my kids “un-box” the whole package here. It was filled will all kinds of fun treasures, but my son was most drawn to the Lion Pride posters, so we decided to have a Lion Guard party! It also had a can of Nesquik and bag of plastic animals which lead me to the idea to make Animal Party Cups.
To make this project you will need:
Smoothie Straws these are wider and more sturdy, so they support the animal better
Nesquik and milk to mix with it
These are so easy to make, all you need to do is add a drop of hot glue to the upper half of the straw, and press the plastic animal on the glue. Hold for a few seconds and you are done. The glue will hold really well, but can be snapped off after the party is over if the kids want to take the animals home and play with them. It was so fun to see the kids eyes wide with excitement once they saw their animal straws. Lets face it Nesquik is pretty awesome, but getting your own fancy straw just takes it to the next level when you are 5 years old!
You can make your own straws at the party, or do all the prep work before hand and just have them premade and ready for the party.
