Can you say SWAG? #BlogHer

Spread the love

I told you all about yesterday morning at BlogHer but did not have time to fill you in on the rest of the day.  We had an amazing lunch of salads, sandwiches, fruit and dessert.  Yummy, these folks know how to feed a group of hungry bloggers.

That afternoon I spent anther 2 hours with The Pioneer Woman and The Budget Fashonista doing question and answer and hearing about the growth of their blogs.  These gals are a kick in the pants….. not only did they have great advice and wisdom in growing your site.  But they are also funny as can be, and totally made me laugh.  A great way to spend the afternoon!

We then signed up for the next session of BlogHer and got our Swag bag…. full of all kinds of goodies. The gals from  Fabulessly Frugal came back to the room with me and we had fun seeing what goodies were waiting for up inside.  But we could not stay too long….. because the EXPO was about to start.

While at the expo I was able to connect with a lot of fun brands and business that I hope to connect with in the future and bring you all some fun giveaways and product reviews.

A Thrifty Mom Chilling with Elmo and Cookie Monster at Sesame Street.

I took my photo with the Brawny Man and got a coupon for some FREE paper towels……. Oh ya totally love coupons for FREE products!

Then Amber and I from Fabulessly Frugal had a competiton to see who could wash a dirty plate faster with a paper towel…… ya Amber totally smoked me.   Just for doing that we were able to get another coupon for $5 off 🙂

Ahhh,  Papa Smurf keeping me in check and handing out some great Smurf Pens my kids are going to love.

I stopped by the Red Plum booth and played a little game….. and you will never guess what I won…… a $100 visa gift card!  I screamed and danced like a girl who had just won Miss America.  Holy cow, this Thrifty Momma was so stinkin excited!  See all my bags… they are all filled with fun Swag.  I am going to have a hard time getting it all home.

I ended the evening by attending the kick off party. Where I  wore my black dress I got from Other Mothers for only $3.  I did not stay long, drinking, loud music, dancing and trying to talk to total strangers is NOT my thing.  So instead I decided to come back to the room and find some thrifty deals for you all 🙂  Look forward to a full day of learning a fun!
