CHICKEN PROJECT #820-843 SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST ORPHANAGE HOME.

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock.

The following story talks about our visitation to SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST ORPHANAGE HOME. chickens were donated, thanks to The Given family, Patricia Watkins, Lisa Williams, Maryellen Raymond and Ecem Karaharman We donated Twenty four (24) chickens. Thanks to generous donations.

So this is on our arrival, we meet the kids reading there text book and then when they saw us, one of them with one of the baby then ran towards us been excited to see us and I carried the baby from him, they all were happy to see us visiting them again after a short while.

We went inside and greeted there nursing mother, as they saw us they all were happy saying to the kids that those Uncle that do come to visit them with Chickens and some times Babies supplies are here today so they should all be happy because more Meat has come for them, which they will prepare it to be more delicious for them this time and they will Enjoy it like before, In my mind I was just vey happy and more excited because we are helping this kids a lot to provide something like this for them most of the time.

We are done with taking of the photo with the kids and the life chickens, so we then helped one of their nursing mother to take the chickens inside there kitchen according to them they are killing all and then putting them all in the fridge so when ever they want to cook the will just go to the fridge and get any amount the want and prepare for the kids in other to make their meal more Delicious ?

Thanks to all General Donations and for your love and caring for the kids, Remain Blessed, We Love you all.
