Easy Hack To Help Kids Put Shoes on the Right Feet

It’s Katie! Ever see your kid sort of walking or running funny and you look down at their shoe to see they’ve put them on the wrong feet? My preschooler used to do this a lot, especially with his tennis shoes. But he’s very independent and has tells me “I’ve got this mom” a lot. Lol.

Here’s a super quick and Easy Hack To Help Kids Put Shoes on the Right Feet. All you need is a sharpie. (Click here to order some!)

Place a small dot on the inside of the shoe on each side and voila! Now your kid can tell when they have their shoes on the right feet because the dots match up. You can use any color depending on the color of the shoe. If your kid has black soled shoes you can try a metallic sharpie or a small dot of nail polish.

This helps kids feel more independent and proud of doing it all by themselves. And then they don’t get told they’ve done something wrong.
