My house has lots of little finger prints ALL over it, in fact I wipe them off mirrors, windows and counters almost daily. BUT someday I am going to miss these cute little finger prints. That is why I ADORE this Love Bug Finger Print Cards. My kids like to make me little “finger monsters” and write me notes on the back. I thought I would pass the idea along to you. These are perfect for Valentines, Mothers Day cards or just to say Hello.
First you will need:
- Scrapbook paper or cardstock
- Acrylic craft paint
- Paint brush
- Glue
- Black Sharpie marker
Start by painting your child’s finger with a thin-medium coat of paint. Quickly press it down on the paper to create a finger print. You can do them all the same color or mix it up as seen in the photo above. Start with the lighter color so you do not have to clean the finger off as mush between prints.
Allow the paint to dry. Then use the sharpie marker to draw faces, arms and legs on them. Layer on scrapbook paper or cardstock to create a custom card.
