My Job Chart free online tool for families

Growing up on a farm I learned at very young age the value of hard work and responsibility.   But now that I am the parent to 4 little ones, it is not always easy to know the best way to teach my kids to be responsible.  I will be honest some times it is easier to just do it myself then to nag at them to get the job done.  But I realize this does not help them learn the skills, and work ethic they need throughout their life.  We often make a paper chore chart but staying consistent and tracking their success is not always easier.

My brother was telling me about an online job chart he was using.  When his kids completed  their jobs they earned points.  The kids can log on and then choose where those points go, save, share or spend.  The kids can then use those points to earn special things like a popcorn movie party, or having a friend over…. or even to purchase things online.  It teaches them how to manage their points, a great learning tool and the skill of learning to manage money when they are older.
