Remento: A GREAT Gift Idea

Remento: A GREAT Gift Idea

You may have seen me talk about Remento on The Thrifty Mom Facebook page. I’ve been working with my father-in-law to help him create his Remento book, and I’m really excited to share my Remento review with all of you.

What is Remento?

Remento is a process that turns spoken words and memories into a book of beautifully written stories. Read the words, or scan the QR code to hear the recording that inspired each story.
You may have seen Remento on Shark Tank recently. They got a deal with Mark Cuban and all of the sharks were so moved by this product that brings families together while sharing and saving family memories. And the best part? Creating your Remento book is so easy, there is NO writing involved. Storytellers are prompted with photos and/or questions to help guide them, but you can really make your Remento book however you like!

My Remento Review

As mentioned, I’ve really enjoyed the Remento process of creating a book with my Father-in-law, Papa. I’ve learned so much about him and the experience of sharing his memories has brought us closer together. The process has been super easy, he literally just talks to the computer camera (you can also use a phone – it’s just like Facetiming!)

Papa looks forward to telling his Remento stories, and I’ve really enjoyed hearing about our family history. The best part? These stories will be available for my kids and their kids, and generations to come.

We had such a great time working on Papa’s book, the founder of Remento, Charlie Greene actually flew out with a camera crew to document our story. We had such a fun time learning more about how he created the company and sharing stories.

Remento is a great gift idea!

As you know, family is very important to me and I feel like Remento gives the gift of sharing these priceless memories and restoring them. If you are looking for a wonderful gift for an aging parent or grandparent (or even if you want to document your own life stories) I think Remento makes the perfect gift!
