My reader Jan told me that Walmart has strawberries for $1.25 a lb, it is a good time to stock up. You can make jam with them, or take the stem off put them on a cookie sheet and freeze them. Then put them into bags and use them for frozen smoothies. What do you do with them?
My freind Trisha told me that Cliffs market in Caldwell has fresh strawberries on sale 8lbs for $7.50. That is only a .93 cents a lb a THRITY price!
