They wanted  to make a fall bouquet to put on the kitchen table.  We decided to make a twine vase to display the leaves that they just picked outside.  A twine vase can be made rather fast, and is budget friendly way to decorate.Fall flower vase made out of a tin can and jute twine, made the whole thing for under a dollar. Wash the can and dry it well.  Add a bit of hot glue to the bottom  side of the can, start to wrap the twine around the can.  Glue as you go, make sure the twine is close together so the can does not show thru.  Do this all the way to the top, cut the end and tuck it under the last row. Fill with some water and add branches from your yard for a fall centerpiece that  is rather elegant.  Made for less than a dollar, these would be great to make for a dinner party or other events that need decorated on a budget.
