42 DAYS WITH JOHANN OUR BOY FROM FRANCE ~ DAY 5 & 6 #TRAVEL #FRANCE

We were getting our clothes all ready for church, Matt asked Johann if we needed to iron his shirt.  He did not understand what he was talking about. But he did remember the word IRON from the night before when we asked him if we wanted to watch Iron Man.  Once we explained what an iron was, he was then very confused as to why we would want to watch a movie about a man who irons.

He also discovered our garbage disposal, he was amazed that we had a grinder in our sink.  He had a blast tossing stuff down the hole and watching it grind up.

After church we went to Matt’s Moms for dinner.  She made Rhodes rolls as part of the meal. He loved them but to him our american breads are more like dessert. There is not much sugar in them, but he can taste it since their baguette do not have any sugar in them :).

Johann has been great with the kids, and even loves to snuggle baby Madilyn.  He gets a kick out of  her when she bobs her head around on his neck looking for something to eat.
