Don’t want to chop up your pumpkin, but still want to get into the Halloween spirit? This Candy Corn Pumpkin is the perfect solution as SO CUTE!  Super easy to make and turns out adorable every time! Candy corns happen to be one of my favorite candy, and they make me think of fall.  I saw a candy corn pumpkin a few years ago and have always wanted to make one. Yesterday I finally took the time to paint one with my girls.  It was a quick and easy project that the girls had a fun time making.  I like the cute side of Halloween (not the ghost and goblins) so I am pretty excited about this adorable new pumpkin sitting on my front porch.

To make this Candy Corn Pumpkin project all you need is:

• Acrylic Paint
• Jute Twine
• Sponges for Painting

We used a craft sponge to paint the Candy Corn Pumpkin.  I put the paint right on the sponge and then started to dab it on the pumpkin. I started with white on the top then did the yellow on the bottom.  We did two coats to cover the pumpkin, but if you use a good quality paint you might only have to do one layer.

The weather was perfect and the girls had so much fun making this project.  Even little Madilyn was having fun watching her sisters paint. Once the paint is dry,  tie a bow around the stem. Simple as that you have made your very own Candy Corn Pumpkin.

I went to take a photo of the finished project and my silly 7 year old wanted to be in the photo too… she makes me laugh. The said her baby pumpkin would miss her if she left it alone :).
