Patriotic DIY Vase

These are fun to make and turn out looking rather awesome. Perfect for any occasion, you can use any color.  These ones are colored  for the 4th of July.

Items Needed:

• Glass Container (vase or a juice bottle)
• Red, White and Blue Acrylic Paint
• Newspaper or Paper Plate

Directions:

Place your glass container upside down on newspaper or a paper plate. Starting with the red paint, slowly apply a few drops around the edge of the bottom of the container and allow to drip down over the edge. If needed, using a toothpick to help encourage it to fall over the edge. Allow drying for 5-10 minutes and repeating the process again with the blue and than the white paint. Continue to add paint a little at a time until desired effect is achieved.

Allow to dry for 24 hours before using.

You can use a vase for this, or you can use a glass bottle that once had juice or other things in it.  An old coke bottle would be fun to try as well.
