Prismacolor Premier colored pencils and fine line marker review – Adult coloring supplies

I was asked if I would like to do a Prismacolor Premier colored pencils and fine line marker review. I was excited to try out these products, both because I was curious about them. Also because they are on my 11 year old daughters wish list!  The first question on my mind was, Are they worth the money?  After all, most colored pencil sets I buy for my kids are about two dollars for 12.  This set is about 50 cents a pencil. Which of artist grade is a steal of a deal… but still more than what I normal pay. But these are not for my 2 year old, these are for “adult coloring” lol.

If you are looking for high quality yet affordable art supplies then you need these in your life.  The Prismacolor pencils have very soft cores. They are thick, but soft which is perfect for blending and shading. This allows you to have a smooth yet rich color that gives you a very professional look.  It also allows you to blend and build your own colors.  I love the sturdy case they come in, that keeps them in order and also protected while not being used.

The Prismacolor Premier Illustration Markers have ultra fine tips, which is great for fine lines and details. They are acid free and archival safe so they would be great for scrapbooking or memory books. The bold colors are great, perfect for outline or adding a message to a piece.
