I was given some awesome products from #DisneyKids to create a preschool party for my little ones and their friends. You can watch my kids “un-box” the whole package here if you missed it. It was filled will all kinds of fun treasures, but my son was most drawn to the Lion Pride posters, so we decided to have a Lion Guard party! In prep for the party, I wanted to come up with a healthy snack idea, and Halos oranges happen to be one of my kids favorite treats! Which gave me the idea to make Lion Cubs Oranges out of them.
What you will need to make these:
- Tulip’s Puffy Paint
- Aleene’s Tacky Glue
- Sharpie pen, black or dark brown
- Wiggly Eyes
- Halos Oranges
First put two dots of Tacky Glue on the upper half of the orange, and place two wiggly eyes on the glue. Use your Sharpie marker to draw on a triangle nose and a mouth, and little “C” shaped ears above the eyes. Once the face is all drawn on, you can now use the Tulip’s glitter paint to draw on some whiskers. It does take a while for it to dry so make sure you allow for drying time. Hope you enjoy these cute little lion treats! Keep an eye on the blog this week, we will be listing a few other fun lion themed ideas!
