Recipe – Dip for Sweet Potato Fries

Sweet Potato fries are incredibly good and even a healthy recipe! So what do you dip your Sweet Potato Fries in? Earlier we did a post on how to make Sweet Potato Fries. There are so many different choices in Sweet Potato Fry dips to pick from. Many like sweet dips, some like creamy dill dips, and some like a savory style dip. This first recipe is for the picture above – HomeStyle Dip.

HomeStyle Sweet Potato Fry Dip

Ingredients:

• 1 cup sour cream
• 3 tablespoons Ketchup
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 teaspoon Salt
• 1 teaspoon Pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon Tony Chachere’s Original Creole seasoning (optional) just for tang… it’s not hot

Mix all ingredients together and serve.

Savory Honey Mustard Sweet Potato Fry Dip

Mix the savory with the sweet with the Savory Honey Mustard Dip for Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup honey
• 1/2 cup mustard (yellow or dijon – pictured above is yellow mustard)
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon pepper
• 1 teaspoon Tony Chachere’s Original Creole seasoning (optional) just for tang… it’s not hot

Mix all ingredients together and serve.

Chives and Dill Dip for Sweet Potato Fries

• 1 cup Sour Cream
• 1 tablespoon finely diced Chives
• 1/2 tablespoon finely cut Dill
• 1 teaspoon Tony Chachere’s Original Creole seasoning (optional) just for tang… it’s not hot

Back when we first heard about Sweet Potato Fries, it was at a restaurant. We ordered them for the first time with a lot of hesitation. Once the waiter brought them out he said ” It may not seem right, but try it with just plain yellow mustard.” We did and actually really enjoyed it. So even today – plain yellow mustard is our first pick for a Sweet Potato Dip. Also just plain honey is also really good too.
