VERY Thrifty deal on Reese’s at Walgreens

On of my readers sent me this thrifty tip (thanks Jill), Walgreens has the 8 pack Hersheys candy on sale with instore ad coupon for $.99. they happen to trigger the month long register reward spend $10 on select candy get back a $5 RR.

This is how the deal works:

• Buy 7 packs (Reese’s and Kit Kats are the only ones confirmed to work) at $1.59
• Your total will be $11.13 plus tax (to get to your $10 mark)
• Use the instore ad coupon that will make them .99 each (says limit 3 but takes it off all 7)
• Total will now be $6.93 plus tax
• After you pay a $5.00 RR will print
• Final price only $1.93 for 7 packs (.28 cents each)

I did the deal listed above but paid with a $5.00 RR , with tax my total was $2.35….after I paid a $5.00 RR printed
