Are you hosting a football party or maybe a Super Bowl Party? My son was having a Football Party, but I did not want to spend a bunch on decorations. But at the same time I wanted it to look fun and festive. I decided to make fun, low cost football serving containers for the chips out of a brown paper lunch sack. At first I just dumped the chips right in the bag… but that left grease spots all over them. I found it works best to keep the chips in their normal bag, and fold the top down or cut it off. Then use the brown paper bag as the outer shell.
A bag of chips has a LOT of air in it, so I bought medium size bag of chips and it filled up the small (standard) lunch sack just perfect. Start out by taking the flat, brown bag and drawing on the black laces of the football. I did mine with a sharpie marker. Open up your bag and then fold down the top a few times to create a “bowl” out of your bag. Put your opened bag of chips inside, cut off the top of the bag or roll it down so it will not show. You can use Football Stickers and Craft Twine to decorate the bag too. Clean up is super easy, just toss the bag in the trash and you are done 🙂
