My Family on the 4th

This year we had a crazy 4th of July.  We had a family reunion in Middleton, as well as all the normal 4th of July events.  Matt woke up not feeling very well…he tried to ignore it.  But soon was in more pain than he could handle, an ER visit found another kidney stone.  I say another because he gets them about once a year.  So while he sat in pain in the ER we tried to enjoy the Middleton 4th of July Parade.

I had to laugh, I thought every town had tractors in their parade.  Till I went to another towns 4th of July one year…..and sure enough no tractors.  Come on it is not the 4th without a good old John Deer….can you tell I grew up on a farm.

Matt back from the ER with some meds to try and help him pass his kidney stone.  He is such a trooper, he even went to the fire works that night to make sure the kids had a good day.  I felt bad because I knew he was in ( and still is) in alot of pain.
