2 years ago we took Johanns brother ice blocking. So of course he wanted to try it too. We took his brother to a hill in Idaho Falls that is perfect for Ice Blocking. So I had to find a local hill that would work. At first we tried a hill in Meridian, but it was not steep enough. So we decided to pack up our ice and find a better hill.
He ended up going to Simplot Hill in Boise. It was a little too steep for the little kids but got the job done. The kids had a blast ice blocking down the grass. If you do not know what ice blocking is you can read our post about ice blocking here. Remember to bring an extra pair of pants because your bottom WILL get wet. Also do NOT go down head first, it is not safe.
It was really hot, once we were done Johann took an ice bath by rubbing the block of ice all over his body. The kids were giggling they think Johann is so much fun.
My kids have. They says it’s fun, until you fall off the block and skin yourself up on the grass.
